For all the tarot creators out there, why go thru the trouble of creating a deck and a guidebook, only to cheap out and make a pip deck? I am very disappointed. I may see if I can return this deck. Not really related to the movie or characters. It is a shame as the cards are a nice thickness with a nice coating. I was excited to have a Labyrinth themed deck because I have been a huge fan of the movie forever. If you're a fan of Labyrinth, you will keep these cards like I will, simply to add to your collection. These are good memorabilia gifts. But to actually use them as tarot cards is very difficult. The back of the cards are rough in terms of very hard to move when shuffling. They almost stick together when you shuffle. On top of that, the card stock is thin, making them somewhat flimsy and easier to bend than thicker cards. For me, it truly can't be used for tarot. The box itself is robust and well made, the booklet is very nice and again well made and illustrated. I read some of the reviews on here and wasn't sure what to expect. However, they are well thought out and carefully packaged there's a ribbon to help you get the cards and book out which is a lovely, thoughtful touch from the designers. The art work is creative genius and I love the cards. A lot of care went into this deck and I know ill love working with them. A must have for any collector. They were worth the wait.
